Piotr Osiewicz 25006c4ceb debugger: Fix evaluate selection running two evaluations & failing for Python and go (#44205)
Evaluate selection now acts as if the text was typed verbatim into the
console.

Closes ##33526

Release Notes:

- debugger: Fixed "evaluate selection" not behaving as if the
highlighted text was not typed verbatim into the console.

Lukas Wirth 174b50e64a multi_buffer: Typed MultiBufferOffset (#42707)
This PR introduces a new `MultiBufferOffset` new type wrapping size. The
goal of this is to make it clear at the type level when we are
interacting with offsets of a multi buffer versus offsets of a language
/ text buffer. This improves readability of things quite a bit by making
it clear what kind of offsets one is working with while also reducing
accidental bugs by using the wrong kin of offset for the wrong API.

This PR also uncovered two minor bugs due to that.

Does not yet introduce the MultiBufferPoint equivalent, that is for a
follow up PR.

Remco Smits 7ca31f182b Reduce display_map snapshot creation (#39354)
Re-applies https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/pull/30840

This PR re-applies the initial
[PR](https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/pull/30840). As it was closed
because it was hard to land, because of the many conflicts. This PR
re-applies the changes for it.

In several cases we were creating multiple display_map
snapshots within the same root-level function call.
Creating a display_map snapshot is quite slow, and in some
cases we were creating the snapshot multiple times.

Anthony Eid 70be2b693f debugger: Add ability to only show stack frame entries from visible work trees (#37061)
This PR adds a toggleable filter to the stack frame list that filters
out entries that don't exist within a user's project (visible work
trees). This works by keeping a vector of entry indices that exist
within a user's project and updates the list state based on these
entries when filtering the list.

I went with this approach so the stack frame list wouldn't have to
rebuild itself whenever the filter is toggled and it could persist its
state across toggles (uncollapsing a collapse list). It was also easier
to keep track of selected entries on toggle using the vector as well.

tidely c4105d055e Fix clippy::redundant_clone lint violations (#36558)
This removes around 900 unnecessary clones, ranging from cloning a few
ints all the way to large data structures and images.

A lot of these were fixed using `cargo clippy --fix --workspace
--all-targets`, however it often breaks other lints and needs to be run
again. This was then followed up with some manual fixing.

I understand this is a large diff, but all the changes are pretty
trivial. Rust is doing some heavy lifting here for us. Once I get it up
to speed with main, I'd appreciate this getting merged rather sooner
than later.

Anthony EidandZed AI adfefda61d debugger: Extract running state from DebugSession mode and remove mode field (#29646)
DebugSession.mode is no longer needed because project::debugger::Session

8072990f7b debugger: Add support for inline value hints (#28656)
This PR uses Tree Sitter to show inline values while a user is in a
debug session.

We went with Tree Sitter over the LSP Inline Values request because the
LSP request isn't widely supported. Tree Sitter is easy for
languages/extensions to add support to. Tree Sitter can compute the
inline values locally, so there's no need to add extra RPC messages for
Collab. Tree Sitter also gives Zed more control over how we want to show
variables.

There's still more work to be done after this PR, namely differentiating
between global/local scoped variables, but it's a great starting point
to start iteratively improving it.

Anthony Eid 32a041fa7a debugger: Add console indicator and resolve debug configs from NewSessionModal (#28489)
The debug console will now show an indicator when it's unopened and
there's unread messages.

`NewSessionModal` attempts to resolve debug configurations before using
the config to start debugging. This allows users to use zed's task
variables in the modal prompt.

I had to invert tasks_ui dependency on debugger_ui so `NewSessionModal`
could get the correct `TaskContexts` by calling tasks_ui functions. A
consequence of this workspace has a new event `ShowAttachModal` that I'm
not a big fan of. @osiewicz if you have time could you please take a
look to see if there's a way around adding the event. I'm open to pair
