Release Notes:

- Fixed: echo's on experimental audio pipeline

Some more context:
- `EchoCanceller` was not implemented on the output side
- removes the planned migration to a different sample rate (44100) and
channel count (1)
- de-duplicate the interleaved `#cfg[]`'s and centralized them in
`echo_canceller.rs`
